I am 27(F) and my boyfriend is 29(M). We have been in a relationship for a long time but we have never had sex before. My boyfriend used a condom while having sex but I don't know if it is safe to use a condom can I be pregnant

There is a 2% chance that you could get pregnant while using a condom, which means that 98% of the time, condoms work. If you don't have a backup method of birth control and the condom breaks, this could happen.

Using a condom can greatly lower the chance of getting pregnant, but it doesn't always work. There is still a small chance of getting pregnant if the condom breaks or isn't used correctly. If you are worried, you might want to take a pregnancy test or talk to a doctor or nurse for advice.
