Men of all ages can have erectile dysfunction (ED), but older men are more likely to have it. Even though it happens more often in older people, it's important to remember that ED can happen to anyone at any age and is affected by many things. ED is often linked to mental health problems like performance anxiety, stress, or problems in relationships in younger men. It can also be caused by things like drinking too much booze, smoking, or using drugs. ED in younger guys can also be caused by underlying health problems like diabetes, heart disease, or chemical issues.

Men may have changes in their bodies as they get older, such as less blood flow to the penis, lower hormone levels, or changes in how nerves work. These changes can make the risk of ED higher. Research shows that the number of people with ED tends to rise with age. About 40% of men over the age of 40 have some form of ED. It is important to remember that ED is not a normal part of getting older. Men of any age who have ongoing or frequent problems getting or keeping an erection should talk to a doctor. Problems with ED can really lower your quality of life, and they might also be a sign of deeper health problems that need to be treated.

Men of all ages can have trouble getting or keeping an erection, but it happens more often as they age. Things like health problems, medicines, worry, and the way you live your life can also play a part. Some men may have problems with their erections from time to time, while others may have problems that last for a long time. It doesn't matter what age you are; if you're worried, you should see a doctor.

Although erectile dysfunction (ED) may manifest in men of any age, it mostly affects older men. Its incidence often starts to rise in males after the age of 40, and the risk also rises with age. Stress, worry, marital problems, or underlying health concerns may also cause erectile dysfunction in younger men. Regardless of age, it is essential to see a healthcare provider if you are concerned about your ability to maintain an erection in order to identify the root reason and investigate possible treatments.

I don't think there is a specific age to develop ED, it depends on your lifestyle. Is it necessary to have an ED problem with age?
